Welcome!

Hi,
On this web site, I'll show you some of the work that I have been able to do during this class. I have really stretched myself and hope to keep on doing so with the new things I have learned. Be sure to click on the GoTo links to view my work. Thanks

Reflection

Awareness- Most people have seen web pages and sites before. I have been a part of some sites just because I am a teacher and they include pictures of our classes on the school site. I have never wanted to do a web site of my own before but with this assignment, I will do the best I can.
Explore- I have spent a great deal of time exploring web sites since I find the internet a wonderful tool for home and work. When I started thinking about what site I would use to build my own, I started at Geocities. I did not really like the tools they had so I looked a little further and decided on Tripod.
Learning- The actual process of making the web site has taken several tries. I was able to start slow and log out, come back and add more. I had some trouble with my multimedia file and decided to make it a PDF. This worked but the file is large and takes a while to load. The site builder is pretty user friendly once you figure out what all the buttons mean. It was easy to upload my files and a coulple pictures of Spike.
Application- Well the proof is in the pudding and I have actually made my first web site. The best part about this is that now I can help students that are looking for a different way to make a presentation. This was easy once I got started and I look forward to creating more web sites.

This is my dog, Spike. He was snake bit while I was in this class and really had me worried. He is doing great and really helps lighten up things when all this technology gets to heavy.
